Santa’s Surprising Tax Return

H&R Block just dropped Santa’s “official” tax return, and it’s proof that even the jolly old elf can’t dodge Uncle Sam. From snack write-offs (hello, milk and cookies) to global delivery expenses, the North Pole’s holiday hero might just be the biggest business owner you never knew.

IRS to Pay Out $2.4B in Unclaimed Credits

The IRS is sending $2.4 billion to 1.2 million people who missed tax credits in 2021. Each eligible taxpayer could get up to $1,400. Checks are already being sent, but if you haven’t filed yet, you still have until 2025 to claim yours.

Turns out the IRS is trying to avoid lawsuits from taxpayers who said they weren’t properly notified.
