The Accountant 2 Is a Massive Hit for Amazon

It’s Friday night! want something to watch that’s actually good?

The Accountant 2 is blowing up on Prime Video, pulling in nearly 80 million viewers since its release and becoming Amazon MGM’s second most-watched movie ever.

The Ben Affleck sequel had a solid run in theaters, won the Audience Award at SXSW, and just racked up 1.38 billion minutes streamed. Critics gave it a solid 72%, but audiences? 92% on the Popcorn score.

BDO Names Next CEO

Matthew K. Becker will take over as CEO of BDO USA on July 1, 2026, replacing Wayne Berson, who’s stepping down after 14 years at the helm.

Becker has been with BDO since 2002 and currently leads its tax division, a group he’s helped double in size since 2019. He’s known for pushing key moves like BDO’s employee stock ownership plan and will spend the next year working alongside Berson to lead the transition.

Copper Just Got a 50% Tax

Trump just dropped a 50% tariff on copper imports, sending prices to a record high. That’s a big hit for Chile, the world’s top copper supplier, which mines nearly 5x more than the U.S.

The White House says it wants to bring copper production home, but even Chile’s top miner says the U.S. doesn’t have the capacity to pull it off alone.
