IRS Says Churches Can Endorse Candidates
For the first time in 70 years, the IRS says churches can now endorse political candidates, as long as it’s during religious services and meant for their own congregation.
The move came as a settlement in a lawsuit filed by two Texas churches and the National Religious Broadcasters Association. It only applies to houses of worship, not all nonprofits. Critics say this could blur the line between religion and politics, but the IRS says it doesn’t violate the Johnson Amendment if it’s part of a faith based message.

Why Your CPA Firm Is Invisible to Millennials and Gen Z
Most accounting firms focus on older clients, and ignore millennials and Gen Z. Big mistake. These younger generations aren’t too broke or too tech-savvy to need help. They’re buried in student loans, confused by investing, launching side hustles, and trying to make sense of taxes, savings, and retirement plans, and they’re getting bad advice online.
But to win their business, firms need to change how they show up. That means ditching stiff language, offering mobile tools and digital payments, and marketing on platforms like YouTube and Instagram. These clients also care about values, like transparency, data security, and social responsibility. If you can deliver on that and explain financial basics in plain English, you’ll earn long term loyalty they won’t grow out of.

Del Monte Is Broke and Canned Food Might Be Too
After getting banned last year for signing with Impossible Foods, Joey Chestnut returned to Nathan’s Hot Dog Contest and crushed 70.5 dogs in 10 minutes, taking back the crown with his 17th Mustard Belt.
He didn’t beat his 2021 record of 76, or the 83 he ate at a Netflix event last year, but he still won by 24 hot dogs. No one was close. Chestnut may have missed a year, but it’s clear, he’s still the champ.
