💎 WTF of the Day

How Miley Fooled Her Accountant
At one point, Miley Cyrus was spending thousands on drugs, but told her accountant it was for vintage clothes. Every time her accountant asked to see the $15,000 John Lennon T-shirt on the receipt, Miley would just say, “It’s upstairs.”
She said drugs were a big part of her music back then. But when the album flopped and she got sober, her team told her not to talk about it. Why? Because “the kids won’t think you’re cool anymore.”
So Miley kept playing the part, singing songs about getting high even though she wasn’t anymore. She said it made her feel like a total fraud.

India Wants Its Own Big Four
India’s Commerce Minister says the country is close to launching its own Big Four, local accounting giants to rival Deloitte, PwC, EY, and KPMG.
The move is part of Prime Minister Modi’s push to make India less reliant on foreign firms and build homegrown powerhouses. A task force is already working on it. If it works, it’ll mean more jobs, more independence, and a major flex on the global stage.

Walmart is bringing drone deliveries to another 100 stores
Walmart is rolling out drone delivery to 100 more stores across five cities, Atlanta, Charlotte, Houston, Orlando, and Tampa, thanks to a partnership with Alphabet’s drone company Wing.
They’ve already done 150000 drone drops since 2021 and now millions more customers can get groceries flown to their doorstep in under 20 minutes. It’s a small piece of Walmart’s 4700 store empire but a big flex in their fight to catch up to Amazon online.
