💎 WTF of the Day

Rillet Raises $25M to Kill Off NetSuite
Rillet just bagged $25 million from Sequoia to blow up the old way of doing accounting. Instead of waiting weeks to close the books, their AI pulls data straight from Stripe, Salesforce, Brex, and more, so you get your financials in hours.
They’re already working with nearly 200 fast growing companies, including Windsurf (the AI startup that sold to OpenAI) and Decagon. A third of their clients switched from NetSuite, and that stat alone got Sequoia to write the check.

Costco’s Secret Weapon Isn’t the Hot Dog
Costco is quietly crushing the gas game. It runs over 700 gas stations worldwide, way more than Walmart or Sam’s Club. Gas alone brings in 12% of its revenue.
Why? Cheap fuel gets people in the door. In fact, when gas prices spiked, half the people who filled up went into the store. Now other retailers like Dollar General, Walmart, and BJ’s are copying the play, expanding gas stations to drive foot traffic.
Costco’s $1.50 hot dog may get the headlines, but it’s gas that keeps the engine running.
